Review of Sec 1 Grades

Sian... My HCL and IS grades totally suck... Thanks to all teachers for making us with Sec 4 standards though (totally sincere here... No sarcasm detected.). I love my 1st HCL compo! You would too, if you got 48/70, which is like a B++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++(...etc.) 'cause 49 is an A. Yup, I nearly got an A for HCL compo (I solemnly swear I am not lying. At all.) at 'O' level standard. Much thanks to Rayy for inspiration, haha. What a nice name 谢依璇 is. All the better for me to use, LOL. (By the way, if you're wondering why I'm suddenly typing in full, it's 'cause my dad insisted that I have to use proper English in my blog for the benefit of my future career. I mean, seriously, who cares? But then again, he does have a point.) All the teachers think I'm a very quiet girl. Ok, I admit, I don't really like to talk. Much. But am I really that quiet? 0.o (He didn't say using of emoticons was prohibited, LMFAO.) And I simply love my LA grades. Though I was shocked when Mr Leow mentioned that I was strong in LA (top don't know how many per cent in the whole JH1 cohort) and when Mrs Koh (from TLL- abbreviations are perfectly alright.) mentioned that I "have a flair in writing". Sweet. I love English! So next term we're doing poetry. I'm soo looking forward to it... NOT. But it is (somewhat) like the root of Literature. I just hate it when the poets talk cryptic. Prose is way, way, WAY better. Got to go, I have to attend a 故事擂台比赛 (as the audience. Go seniors!) Ciao. |
